Dr. Nicholas Abidi has been providing comprehensive orthopaedic care in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties since 2000. He attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He then went on to a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. After doing further training in a fellowship program at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Abidi returned to Thomas Jefferson University as an associate professor at the Rothman Institute from 1997 through 2000. He continues educating physicians at national meetings and is active on national committees including the American Medical Association.

Dr. Peter Reynolds has been treating sports injuries in athletes for over 25 years. He completed undergraduate and medical school at the University of Michigan. His residency training was at the University of Minnesota, where he also completed a sports medicine fellowship. While at the University of Minnesota, he was team physician for the football, basketball, hockey and wrestling teams. Locally, he has been the team physician for both Cabrillo College and Soquel High School. He has also served as the department chairman for orthopaedic surgery at Dominican Hospital.

Dr. Christian Heywood is a California native with clinical interest in the prevention and treatment of sports injuries. He attended medical school at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated with distinction. Dr. Heywood stayed at George Washington to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery.
